Korth Super Sport STX: NO RECOIL!!!

A review of an ultra-rare revolver from Germany called the Korth Super Sport STX. Imported by Nighthawk Custom and sharing much of the same manufacturing culture, Korth makes the world's finest revolvers. "One gun, one gunsmith" is a moniker that both Korth and Nighthawk both share. As functional works of art, these revolvers demand attention and perform like no other. Find out why! #pewpewlife...

A review of a 1911 that caught me off guard in the best way describable. Rock River Arms used to build custom 1911s that were truly remarkable. Whether they decide to carry on or let the past stay in the rear view is the question. What I can confirm is that it's the best 1911 I've ever owned 🥹. This one's aluminum, but they also offer steel. Steel would take it to the next level though 🤤

    I get why people complain about the mag capacity. But Beretta 92X Performance was designed to compete in IPSC Production. Majority of the market whom this is sold to competes in IPSC. Some higher-level matches even require fixed capacity 15-round mags.

    Okay. I'm back. And I had to watch very attentively because I have an issue with my brand new, never fired Origin and thought I may be able to figure it out watching your video. Skip to the end; the function check. Dude, I cannot rack my charging handle. It feels like it is locked or hung up on something. It will not charge. If this makes any difference, my ejection port door is closed. With our without a magazine, it don't charge. And looking from under, I can't even tell if the bolt is all.the way forward or not. It looks half way. But I could be wrong. When looking into the magazine well, I see half a bolt and half a black section. What am I doing wrong?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A 3 дні тому

      It sounds like your bolt may not be aligned in the track or that it's locked into battery for some reason. I wouldn't risk it and would take it to a gunsmith, but my money says they will just bump rack it off a table to get it loose anyway.

    man for the cost on all what i spend through out the years... im leaning to the something like your, but in a 10" barrel and a brace to become a pistol. bet that would knock off about 6 more ounces. being a 4lb Pistol! better yet... make it a 308 to get the suppressor and such. because 308 works well for suppressed and 500-1000 yard shots depending what length the barrel is. i always been wanting a mountain rifle where i can pack on just random trips in my backpack. or for shtf.

    How shameless! All the problems that the Meprolight M21 had still exist. The only thing that has changed is the chassis. The selection only has two styles of reticle. It seems that they think their customers are stupid.😂🎉

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A 4 дні тому

      Not sure what problems you're referring to. Any dual illuminated optic will always be outperformed by battery optics when it comes to brightness, but the M21 had been perfectly fine in battle for a long time, as did the original ACOG. If you really need more illumination, they sell the plug in that's battery powered for extra brightness. Other than that, it's a tank and it will never die on you, day or night. Not perfect, but it works

    Jesus Christ said “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” If you wish to seek God’s heart seek first Jesus Christ, He is the bread of life. He is the living water. No one who drinks from Him will again be thirsty. And no one who eats from Him will go hungry. Let the Lord be your strength and let Him lead you to still waters. Be at peace in Christ, lest you join the devil and his angels in the lake of fire and suffer for eternity. This is the free gift of God. Believe in the one who He has sent!

    I just bought it a few weeks ago for just under 1k. I didn't even look it up. I went to buy a 1911 45. Then I saw this bad boy. After feeling a few of the guns, I came back to this FN. One of the owners told me, this is the one to buy. He's wanted to buy one, but hadn't 'pulled the trigger' yet. I took his word for it. It appears, I made a good decision. I just bought my suppressor. It cost more than the gun once you include the 1934 tax stamp that thankfully hasn't seen a word call "inflation" aka "greed". Good thing is, I don't plan on ever selling it. Apparently, it's an AMAZING .45 to have after all these years. I don't have small hands and that appears to be a plus. Feels so good in my hands. Even though I'm technically left handed, I shoot right. But, the gun does not care a bit about my hands. The gun is ambidextrous. It's a very nice touch that thanks to my apparent disability, doesn't matter. The main thing to know about this masterpiece is if you have small hands, DO NOT BUY IT.

      @EchoDelta2A I have both the XPS and EXPS, but I don't like the weight of the EXPS on the SCAR so hopefully the XPS can also handle it. It is depth rated for only 1/3 of the EXPS so that has lead to rumors about there being differences beyond just a qd attachment. Good to hear.

    Questions as the video goes along: 1. 1:30 Gas Plug: It is loose by design. How do you ensure it does not unscrew with cycle of functioning of the weapon? Any suggestions while dialing in the gas pressure (5-8 feet) and then some safe means of that plug remaining static, unable to move freely?? 2. 2:51 Raising of the Dust Cover/Recoil Spring Assembly Removal: Do you need to ensure there is no tension on that spring prior to opening? Do you need to "ride the charging handle forward" to relieve the pressure prior to disassembly? Or is the spring always in the same position for recoil regardless and does NOT require any relief of coil pressure? 3. 10:30 Is there a front and back of that rubber bushing or it doesn't matter? The video shows what looks to be a curved design to the rear. 4. 10:53 Recoil Spring Retention is specific (angled lip facing forward). 5. 11:35 Recoil Spring. is that basically the designed tension at all times, except for when firing the weapon? Can that spring ever get coiled to high pressure prior to disassembly?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A 25 днів тому

      1) I honestly can't think of a good way unless it's by way of using a thick silicon gasket that can put backward tension on the plug. I was thinking Loctite initially, but the heat would break it loose regardless. 2) It won't matter if there's tension on the spring while removing the dust cover, however, I always prefer to have the bolt forward, just in case. 3) The bushing can be placed on either side so long as it's sitting in the grooves where it's up against the back of the receiver. 4) If I remember correctly, there's only one way the spring can sit in the carrier regardless but if it can be reversed, be sure to keep it in the angled position you mentioned. 5) I believe that's the only spring tension that Fostech offers, and depending on how many rounds you put through it, it will wear down over time. That said, I wouldn't expect to replace it for at least 2-3,000 shells. 6) In full transparency, I no longer have the Origin-12, so I'm doing the best I can to answer your questions based on memory.

      He gets the frame and slide already pre-built, but he custom fits them. Don't get me wrong, he still hand fits all the Cobras and they do have different finishes and coatings you can customize, but that's not considered a custom 2011. They do, however, offer a full custom pistol that you can build from the ground up. The Cobras, though, are semi-custom... And still better quality than just about any other 2011 on the planet, including SVI

We had a good mix of noobs and seasoned vets, and everyone improved their time and accuracy with a red dot... Everyone. When you're in a panic situation, the dot is just more intuitive to pickup. Add to that that the MRD irons aren't my favorite either, and there's every reason for an optic (and a good one) to be necessary on such a capable pistol. Just my $.02

    Went to purchase this firearm yesterday the safety was poorly fitted and loose on one side shame on Jacob Grey should never happen on a $2,500 pistol!

      Growing pains, I guess. Mine had a faulty extractor after just a few rounds. Definitely not full proof yet.

    I need your help deciding. I have a TP9N on order but I’m double minded. How much shorter is the TP9N than this APC9K Pro ? And the weight differences ? Hopefully you help me make my mind up

      11.9" and 3.75lbs on the TP9N and 14.66" and 6.75lbs on the APC9K. Personally, I like the additional weight on the APC, along with the build quality. Makes it a flatter shooter. The TP9 is a design that was originally owned by Steyr and bought out by B&T to try to resurrect it. There's a reason the military adopted the APC9K though. It's a tac driver and built to withstand punishment.

    The NN is their best looking 1911's by far. The rest of their stuff just looks tacky.
